To Possible Future Employers:
I am seeking a career in an inspiring environment that can benefit from my passion for creative writing and my appreciation of the importance of the written word. I want what most men desire, and what few men accomplish: to wake up in the morning and be truly, deeply excited to get out of bed and get to work. My experience makes me an ideal candidate for writing fictional narrative, conducting and composing riveting interviews, and writing features on topics as varied as pop culture and world architecture. I've published articles about Joss Whedon. I've interviewed music royalty such as Sean Lennon. And in 2014, I published my first novel, The Ties That Bind, under The Fiction Supply Co. imprint. I am diligent. I am dedicated. And, I finish what I start. While my literary goals often rely on the entrepreneurial spirit, I do believe that the financial stability of a long-term position is advantageous to the modern writer. I desire to grow with a company that encourages professional and personal progress. My personal philosophy is that a workplace that fosters the talents and celebrates the accomplishments of its employees is far more likely to succeed in its goals at large. The world needs more Jerry Maguire idealists. We are in an America that could greatly benefit from people with not only vision, but the spiritual wherewithal to realize these visions. I want to be part of the artistic fabric of this great country and this great era. I want to write. And, I want to make a living doing what I love. If your company has an opening that fits these requirements, I'd love to hear from you. So, that being said, let’s go to work! |
